TELEMEDICINE PRIVACY POLICY

This Telemedicine Privacy Policy applies to the telemedicine services and website (the “Telemedicine Services”) provided by Virtual Injury Care, PLLC (“Virtual Injury Care,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
This policy covers individually identifiable health information, also known as “Protected Health Information” or “PHI,” that you provide when receiving medical care via our Telemedicine Services. Our handling of PHI is subject to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (“HIPAA”) and Arizona state privacy and telemedicine laws. Please refer to our separate HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices for full details regarding our use and disclosure of PHI. This Privacy Policy supplements, but does not override, that HIPAA Notice.

C. Information from Third Parties
- Health data provided by other healthcare providers (with proper authorization)
- Information from third-party services (e.g., health insurers or labs)
2. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

We only share your information as allowed under HIPAA, Arizona law, and as follows:
A. Authorized Vendors & Business Associates

- All vendors are contractually bound by HIPAA-compliant Business Associate Agreements
B. Healthcare Providers & Insurers
- Coordination of care with your primary care provider, specialists, or insurance plans

You have rights regarding your PHI, including:

6. THIRD-PARTY LINKS
Our Telemedicine Services may contain links to third-party websites or services not operated by us. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties.
7. ARIZONA TELEMEDICINE LAWS
Virtual Injury Care complies with Arizona Revised Statutes § 36-3602 and related regulations governing telehealth. We ensure that:
- All patient-provider communications are conducted through secure, encrypted platforms.
- Arizona patients receive the same standard of care via telemedicine as they would in person.
- Patients are informed of their rights regarding telehealth services before treatment.
8. MINORS
We do not knowingly allow individuals under 18 to create accounts or receive care without the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
9. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect legal, regulatory, or operational changes. The revised policy will be posted with an updated “Effective Date.”
